Policies

Check-In / Check-Out

Check-In time is between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Check-Out is by/before 11:00 am on
the day of departure. We are happy to make exceptions wherever possible. Guests with
confirmed reservations can request an earlier or later check-in or check-out time. We
will do our best to accommodate each request.

Reservations

We are a Boutique Bed and Breakfast property, and as such we do not have the capability
to offer on-line reservations. All reservations can be conveniently made by calling us at
203.894.8944 – or – by completing the inquiry form on our website. A non-refundable
deposit equivalent to 1 night’s stay plus tax is requested in order to confirm your
reservation. We accept all major credit cards, personal checks and cash.

Cancellations

Cancellations are accepted up to 1 week in advance of check-in date without incurring
a penalty.  The penalty for cancellations made within less than 1 week of a stay
is 50% of the total balance due for the entire stay if the confirmed stay is for 2 or more
nights. Cancellations made within less than 48 hours of scheduled stays will be charged for the full amount of the reserved stay.

Unfortunately, we cannot return non-refundable deposits made on cancelled
stays.

Pets

We love pets – all pets! However, we must limit our guest pets to dogs – any size, any breed. We have a 9 year-old female Weimaraner named Maxi. She is gentle, playful and loving. All we ask is that your dog is clean, friendly, socialized (around humans and other dogs), and “potty trained”. We have “poopy bags” for your dog, organic treats and a special pet-pad sleep system that works just like the sleep system on which our human guests sleep.  Finally, we request that you do not leave your pet alone in the inn at any time during your stay unless you have requested our pet sitting services in advance.   Pet sitting services are available for an additional charge of $30 per hour.

The Rate for our canine guests is $1.00 a pound per night.

Children
Children of all ages are welcome at green ROCKS inn!  All we ask is that your child/children are clean, friendly, socialized and “potty trained” – just like our canine guests! No, seriously, we do ask that your child/children are supervised at all times by an adult while inside the inn as we do have fine art pieces, some fragile glass art, sculptures, and our floors are Brazilian Cherry. We request that the kids do not play or rough-house inside the inn. There are 2 acres of property outdoors for the kids to have a blast and run off some steam.  Children are subject to the same room rates as adults.
