Natacha Merav Friedman
Natacha Merav Friedman was born in Israel, raised in France and Spain, and has been residing in the U.S. for the past 30 years. She speak 5 languages fluently: French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and English. Throughout her life, she has traveled through Europe, the entire Middle East and South America. From a very early age Natacha experienced rich multi-cultural influences as a result of her family’s background and her extensive travels.
Shortly after arriving in the US with her family, Natacha was diagnosed with a rare form of kidney cancer. She endured the removal of her right kidney and partial removal of her left kidney. Sometime later and in 2001, she was diagnosed with a severe case of endometriosis which developed into uterine, cervical and ovarian cancer. A complete hysterectomy was performed in 2006. On January 19, 2016 Natacha was blessed with the miracle of a successful kidney transplant. Natacha’s altruistic donor Corina Nelsen, her wife Amanda and son Tavien are now a much loved and treasured part of her life.
Natacha earned a Master’s Degree in Hospitality/Hotel and Restaurant Management. Her career background includes managing a successful New York based restaurant, “La Goulue”, in Bal Harbor, Florida. When restaurant management was no longer relevant for Natacha, she decided to partner with her mother, Designer Janine Dray, by opening and running a high-end boutique on Madison Avenue in New York City. There, she quickly learned the custom design and retail business along with what it took to be successful while competing with more highly recognized, powerful retail giants such as Gucci, Armani, and Ralph Lauren. She consistently delighted her clients by tailoring the boutique’s services and products to their individual needs and desires. Many high profile clients such as Stevie Wonder, Mary Tyler Moore, Donna Summer, and Ashford & Simpson became her “regulars”.
A tenacious individual and true survivor, Natacha passionately takes responsibility for her own health. She continually seeks and finds healthful, natural ways to live her life. Over time, she has learned valuable lessons, one of which is that living healthfully can be quite simple: get good sleep, drink lots of clean living water, breathe clean air, eat real food, exercise, and meditate. All of these simple elements work in concert to enhance her state of physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
